SMTP Accounts - Email

You can enter one or more of your existing email accounts, specifically the SMTP address, which identifies an email server, and is used to send out email from the account.  The application will use that account(s) when you use it to send out email from the application.

Permissions are required to work in the application Setup

When you send email out from the application it will use the SMTP address of the email server that you have provided.  This means that the email is coming from your email provider directly, and not through our servers.  You can enter and use more than one SMTP account if you want to.

If you do not know the SMTP address of your email provider, you can check the account setup in your email client, ask your IT staff, contact your ISP or email service provider, or even do a web search such as "SMTP server for <name of your ISP or email provider>".

SMTP server information for some common web based email providers is listed below.  You will also need to know your username and password if you are using that email provider.
