You can select one or more virtual code elements that can be run from a menu item in the main menu. Depending on what a particular virtual code function does, it may not be available to be used in the global menu. Adding multiple functions to a menu item allows the application to execute different functions at once. They may be related to each other, or they could be completely different.
Permissions are required to work in the Setup.
You can add, delete and arrange the order of the virtual code elements in a menu item.
If you are creating a new menu, start from the menu list and click the New button. If you are editing an existing menu item, click on its name.
The Menu Name appears in the main menu, and will be the name that users see for the menu item.
The Description is a brief summary of what the menu item does and its purpose.
Select an virtual code item from the list and click Add to make it part of the menu item.
You can move the order in which that piece of code is used by the application by selecting it then using the up and down arrows to arrange its order in the list.
Click Save when finished, or Cancel to stop without saving any changes.
