When creating a profile, the Permissions tab is where you set what can be seen and done in the application for that profile and the users that are part of that profile.
Permissions are required to work in the Setup.
Permissions are arranged by modules, where a module is a set of related data, objects, and functionality. To set permissions, select a module from the list, and then set the specific permissions needed. Depending on the module, there may be different sets or kinds of permissions; one for functionality and another for the objects. For example, the User Service module has a General User Permissions section for application functions such as email and reports, and a User Service Permissions section for granting access and working permissions for objects such as Users and Profiles.
The modules in the list will depend on what is part of the PerfectMind application and what has been installed into it. For example, if you installed a Billing Services application suite, that would appear in the modules list, and you would have to assign profile permissions for it so that the users could work with the new Billing Services application suite.
