Organize groups of objects as a Setup Suite, creating a single location where you can view and change object and application properties, such as default settings, for all objects and applications installed in PerfectMind.
Permissions are required to work in the Setup.
When you create a Setup Suite, you will be adding custom objects and other PerfectMind applications, functions, and services to that suite. When creating a setup suite, think about which objects you will need to include in each suite, and a descriptive name for the suite that tells you what it is for. A Setup Suite is useful for administrators, allowing them to collect different objects from different applications together in one place, making it easier to change and update settings and other information.
When you create an application you add objects and services that define what it can do, and then you can assign the application to the different user Profiles that need to use it.
Start from Setup > Development > Menu Setup. Select the Setup Suites tab.
Click the New button.
Enter a name for the application. It should be short and descriptive, as it will appear listed in the Company Setup in the Setup.
Enter a description for the application, what it does, what it is for, etc.
Select objects for the application from the Available Objects list. These should all be objects that you will need to access fairly often or are used to set up and configure other applications and services.
Click Add to add the object to the applications list.
The selected items will appear on the tool bar in the same order as the list. You can change the order by clicking on an item and using the arrow keys to move it up or down in the list.
Click the Save button to create the application suite.
Go to Setup > Company Setup to see the Setup Suite; click on the application name to see the objects in the application, and click on the object to view it.
